BIOGRAPHY:
Douglas S. Brierley, a graduate of Cornell University (J.D., with distinction 1974) and Duke University (B.A., summa cum laude 1971), practices in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Appellate Practice, Legal Ethics and Mediation.

The Supreme Court of New Jersey appointed Mr. Brierley to chair the District X Ethics Committee in 1983 and in 1987 as a member of the Disciplinary Review Board for a three-year temr. Mr. Brierley also co-edited two editions of the New Jersey Appellate Practice Handbook.

Admitted to the Bars of New Jersey and New York, Mr. Brierley is also admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court (1981) and U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit (1982) and Second Circuit (2007).
