BIOGRAPHY:
Jeffrey A. Donner, a Partner in the firm, represents clients with commercial litigation issues in the areas of real estate, land use, banking, professional malpractice and bankruptcy. Mr. Donner typically conducts litigation on behalf of commercial banks, construction contractors, commercial real estate companies and various business entities. Mr. Donner has maintained a sub-specialty in hospital and physician issues and is engaged in medical malpractice and legal malpractice matters. He also represents select clients in matrimonial and family law litigation.

Mr. Donner regularly appears before the State, Federal District and U.S. Bankruptcy Courts of New Jersey and the Southern District of New York. Mr. Donner has also appeared before special administrative bodies such as the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals and the United States Tax Court. He is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney.

Mr. Donner has developed specialized knowledge in debt enforcement and fraud issues, Chapter 11 proceedings, claims under the Contract Disputes Act of 1978, defense of Section 1983 actions, equitable distribution issues, choice of law analysis, franchise rights, lien enforcement issues under the Uniform Commercial Code, and third party professional liability claims for recovery in commercial matters. He has appeared before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third, Second and Federal Circuits as well as the New Jersey Supreme Court.

Mr. Donner is a graduate of Harvard University (B.A. 1970 cum laude) and Boston University School of Law (J.D. 1973). He is admitted to practice in the State of New-Jersey and the State of New York as well as before various federal courts and administrative agencies.
