BIOGRAPHY:
Martin G. Gilbert, a partner in the Firm, is a senior commercial litigator and appellate advocate. He has been the primary attorney for major banking, insurance and corporate clients in a variety of complex proceedings and has represented businesses in federal, state and bankruptcy courts throughout the United States. Mr. Gilbert has developed specialized knowledge in franchise issues and also has extensive experience in a wide spectrum of debtor-creditor disputes.
Mr. Gilbert is a graduate of Rutgers University (A.B. 1971) and Georgetown University (J.D. 1974). He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York, as well as the federal courts in these states. Mr. Gilbert has appeared before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third and Second Circuits and the New Jersey Supreme Court.
